Kelis debuted a new electro-pop song called “22nd Century” from her forthcoming album Flesh Tone at the Belvedere Music Lounge during the Winter Music Conference in Miami. She also sang “4th of July,” which she previously performed at a New York club. The multi-faceted star will unleash her tribal music video for “Acapella” tomorrow.
WOWWWW this is going to be her BEST ALBUM by far. Kelis always brings the heat but I’m really feeling this dance infused sound that she is going with. “Fleshtone” is my most anticipated album right now. I can’t wait till it drops!
Very few are as original as this lady here. This new album has enough dance elements for her to do good in that market but also get play in some pop and urban stations, good fusion of sounds. “4th of July” needs to be the next single..
Yes I love the new song! Thanks Rap-Up for always posting the latest on Kelis. You guys are the best & this is why I always come here to get the latest on Queen Kelis
Rap-Up can we please get Kelly Rowland’s performance of “Commander.”
SMDH at everyone trying to do ElectroPop nowadays lol. Thats like the sound of 2010. Let’s see who will do it better. While I like Kelis’s song she’s gotta come harder when it comes to performance. It was boring.
@The Truth Kelis has been doing this type of music since 2000. This is not new to her at all. As for performance, there was nothing boring about it and thats the truth!
