Video: Wanda Sykes Parodies Erykah Badu’s ‘Window Seat’
On her show Saturday (April 3), Wanda Sykes spoofed Erykah Badu’s “Window Seat” music video with her own hilarious version titled “Middle Seat.” The neo-soul singer addressed the controversial clip, for which she has been charged with disorderly conduct, saying her intention was not to disrespect President John F. Kennedy, whom she called one of her heroes.
“John F. Kennedy was a revolutionary,” she told the comedian. “He was not afraid to butt heads with America, and I was not afraid to show America my butt-naked truth.”

Erykah Badu is the TRUTH! I Love everything about her. She stays true to herself, and is not trying to be, what others think they have to be! Great live performer. I go to see her in concert, whenever she comes to town. It’s definitely worth it!!
