Video: Drake Sets Off ‘Fireworks’

Drake debuted “Fireworks,” a new song from his Thank Me Later album, now slated for a June 15 release, on the opening date of his “Away From Home Tour” last night at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.

“Money just changed everything/ I wonder how life without it would go/ From the concrete, who knew that a flower would grow … This time I’m really going off, fireworks,” he raps on the Noah “40” Shebib production, which is rumored to feature Kings of Leon.

This sounds crazy. I love how the album is gonna start with the popping of firework noises, followed by Drake rapping over the soft piano beat. And if I’m not mistaken, I think that once the chorus starts, the beat really picks up. That’s what it sounds like, anyway. Epicnesssss
