Tracy, Kim, Tamika, Fatima, and the rest of the Dreamgirls pile into the backseat of The-Dream’s car in the Lil’ X-directed video for “Love King,” the first single from the singer-songwriter’s third album of the same name. It looks like Terius has shed some pounds as he set out to do.

This song is terriblay. No strong hook and the beat is so typical and redundant for him.

The man is talented so ill give him that, im not gonna be a hater cuz he’s accomplished alot and good for him. But this song is terrible, boring, and redundant. Not only that, but he sounds the same in EVERY SONG. Where’s the emotion? Why cant u write some lyrics that maybe u believe in and sing them with some depth? I liked his first album, Rockin that thang was only good when it was remixed, but he wants to know why he hasnt won any Grammy’s or been nominated? This is why..sorry Dream but sometimes truth hurts.

This should have been on his last album, because it sounds EXACTLY the same as 90% of the songs on it. The video is boring too. You’re not a real artist if you don’t evolve. He’s good producer for OTHER artists though.
If Dream did something hot and new, then he could be considered for a Grammy nomination (just a nomination mind you). Note to stans: read my name.

3 ALBUM..A TRILOGY..MEANING EACH SHOULD HAVE A SIMILAR SOUND…HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED ANY OF THE SONGS HE WRITES FOR DONT SOUND LIKE HIM UNLESS HES IN IT..CMON PPL..BOTH OF HIS ALBUMS HAVE STORYLINES AND FROM START TO FINISH THEY FOLLOW..HE MUSIC MIGHT SOUND THE SAME BUT THATS HIS STYLE AND THATS HOW HE CHOOSES WORK..@Honest doesn’t equal hater IF YOU HEAR HIS FIRST ALBUM HIS LYRICAL QUALITY HAS DEFINITELY EVOLVED..IF ANYTHING HE MIGHT NEED TO CHANGE PRODUCERS..

I love this song and I love Dream’s albums because they tell a story from beginning to end. The video could have been better and it does sound like some of his other songs, but I like the other songs too so its all good to me!
