In Part 2 of Rap-Up TV’s interview with Brandy and Ray J, the stars of VH1′s “A Family Business” discuss what put them in the spotlight in the first place: their music. Ray J reveals that he’s working on an entire album with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, while Brandy has been in the lab with Timbaland.

The elder Norwood unveils the future of her rap alter-ego Bran’Nu, not wanting to disappoint fans with her next album, the flak she’s received from her bathroom videos, and where she may sign next.

IM GLAD SHE IS LISTENING TO THE FANS IM EXCITED ABOUT HOW WELL SHE LISTENS EVEN THO I STILL LUV HER N HER ALBUMS NO MATTER WHAT DIRECTION SHE TAKES.

ne thing from brandy is good… however long as she stays away from the-dream and tricky stewart…they will ruin ur careers (see mariah carey.)

Also, i dont think Bran-Nu should be rapping on her new album…we want retro-NEVER SAY NEVER/AFRODISIAC brandy like she said, its a hobby…keep it that way.

As for the “bathroom sessions” i WOULD LOVE FOR HER TO SING STEVIE WONDER, “RIBBON IN THE SKY”

I would love for her to sing an anita baker song… It’s scary how much I think of Brandy when I’m listening to anita.. You can tell anita influenced her. Brandy sings with almost a “covered” tone like anita at times but she won’t fully go there. I just need her to sing “Good Love” or “I apologize” or sumn!

But anyway, I love these interviews rap-up! Thank u babes :)

Loving this interview. Brandy is listening to her fans! A lot of people say they listen to the fans, but half of them are lying! I like her Bran’Nu alter ego, but yea she should stick to mainly singing instead of doing a whole album rapping cause that is what her fans want and she knows this!

Can’t wait to see their show together. As for them doing an album together…hmmm who knows.

YESS brandy is listnin to her fans..that gives high hopes for a NEver say NEver type album if she carries on with this bathroom singing.. but i also wants traks like 1st in love from the HUman album or a few Clun bangers
