New Music: Ciara – ‘Ride’ [Snippet]
If you can’t wait until next week, here’s a 30-second snippet of “Ride,” the first single from Ciara’s fourth album, due this summer. The midtempo Tricky Stewart and Dream production will feature Ludacris. The preview comes courtesy of Amazon, which has also unveiled the above single cover, and notes that the full song will be 5:26 minutes.

LOVE IT! I’m impressed! I agree with everyone else who says that this is the type of music that showcases her as an artist! I think Ciara, The Dream and Tricky struck gold with these new records cause so far im impressed with the outcome. They found a sound for Ciara that is very infectious and makes u want to listen to more. Ride will definately be a good opening single for this new album and will do well on the charts. I think that when an artist tends to change there music style there fan base dies down a bit cause the fans are used to hearing a certain sound from them. But this Ride record right here is a ciara record, i cant imagine any other female artist singing this song. You cant compare this to anything that is out right now.

It’s def. a matter of choice/preference. I have love for so many artists out there, and theres def. those artists that I dont prefer where I think ” what do all those ppl see in them” but Im not gonna bash on those ppl or the artist. Instead, Id rather be thankful that theres an artist out there that brings that person some sort of happiness. At the end of the day, thats what its all about.
Music is meant to be something inspiring/celebratory. A form of art that elicits the heart/mind. Not a popularity contest/competition.

I think that if you call Ciara a product, that means you are not fully aware how much she herself works with the sound and image of her carrer. She is a very innovative and creative girl who works hard for the music that she wants to do. For example, in interviews she barely speaks about other things then her work.
The reason why I love Ciara so much is because her voice is simply outstanding. Everyone doesnt like the Beyoncé, Mariah screaming high pitched notes that much. And for me, Ciara does have a very unique way of singing, not only does she find new ways of using it but it is improving for each record. I’d rather stan for someone who is evolving and that wasnt born with all the talents, instead of someone who just climbes up on the stages and begins to bark. Not to mention Ciaras dancing and personality. If she now is a product, she is definietly the most humble and best role-model I know! =)
