Rap-Up TV: Jay-Z x Beyoncé – ‘Young Forever’ Live at Coachella

Jay-Z did not bring out Dr. Dre to debut their Detox collaboration “Under Pressure” as heavily rumored, but he did surprise festival-goers with his wife Beyoncé. The couple set off fireworks—literally—while performing Jay’s song “Young Forever” at Friday night’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. Rap-Up TV was on the ground with our own footage.

“Ladies and gentleman, I want to introduce ya’ll to somebody super-duper special. I’m not even gonna say her name. I’m gonna let her speak for herself,” Jay said while introducing Mrs. Carter.

    This shouldn’t have been a surprise as they are always coming out for eachother at concerts. I have to say though I’m not a fan of her version. She kind of ruined it for me especially in the first part. It’s not her singing that’s the problem its the tone in which se sang it. I’m just not digging her interpretation but she can sing and surprisingly didn’t oversing the song. She looks good though. If she’d stop singing 17 year old pop songs and shaking her ass maybe she can be considered iconic. til then, nice performance.
