New Music: Ciara – ‘Blauw’

Ciara

Ciara seductively coos over a synth-heavy beat and robotic voice on “Blauw,” a fast-paced production ripe for the dance floor. It’s unclear if this is from her forthcoming Basic Instinct album or was recorded for a previous effort. When she’s not in the studio, CiCi has been hitting up Hollywood hot spots with socialites Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.

    What’s with all these songs from her project leaking? Only one of Kelly Rowland’s songs leaked from her album and that’s the lead single. Cici and her team need to get it together before everyone have the whole album. I want her to do well but this is not the way. That being said, Song is alright. Nothing special.

    ^^^ I could have sworn only TWO songs leaked…Speechless and this. Ride and U Got Me were already set for release. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal bcuz at the least Ciara has 14 songs penned…and that was in December. Who knows what else she put in work for. Also, She’s been able to keep this material a secret so far since late fall, I think they’re doing good.

    Anywho, I’m LOVING this song. I’m glad Ciara is being smart. She knows she needs to gain back her main fanbase..the urban crowd, but at the same time keep that pop flare that’ll transition effortlessly. Welcome back Cici…

    I like it. Im not sure if its meant for Basic Instinct tho. It sounds like it could have been on the Evolution or Fantasy Ride albums. Nevertheless, I like the chorus and the vibe to it.

    Ride and Basic Instinct(You Got Me) didn’t leak they were released! Only one song recorded for Basic Instinct era got leaked and that’s speechless.

    We don’t know if this is some left over song or what and up & down is from evolution/early fantasy ride era! You all have to remember Ciara has hundreds of songs from her past albums that were never released…this could be one!

    I really like this song, but i really dont think its gonna be put on the album….. well maybe as a bonus track. Well if this is going to be offical i hope the whole album dont be too sexual. As for J Holiday he really shouldnt be talking w/ the boring video’s he comes with. I like his music but his videos are nothing special AT ALL.

    LOVE IT! Ci always brings it with the uptempo’s. but this is clearly not from BASIC INSTINCT. This is all frm the F.R era. Ci has so many leftover tracks, she can make a 5th & 6th album with em. this isnt the route Ci is going.

    Its crazy how when ciara is doing R&B Hip hop track everyone has something positive to say, but as song as they hear a pop track the negativity comes back. This is a great and fun track so why talk down about it?? I hope her next single is something fun and catchy like a Hip Hop version of this maybe
