Beyoncé stars as B.B. Homemaker in the video for “Why Don’t You Love Me,” a bonus track off the 2009 re-release of I Am… Sasha Fierce. But this ain’t your average housewife. Mrs. Carter gets under the hood, smokes cigarettes while makeup runs down her face, and dusts off her 16 Grammys in the grainy clip, directed by Melina and “Bee-Z.”

I’m a die-hard Beyonce fan (ask any of my friends) and I didn’t care for this video, along with “Video Phone.”

She has gone on record saying that if it weren’t for her looks, people would have recognized her more for her talent. Well, talent doesn’t really get a chance to speak for itself when you’re smacking your butt, lifting your bare legs, and grabbing your breasts.

I don’t change sides just because of a couple skanky videos, but I need more from her. She’s sexy. We get it.

thank you. To me she really hasn’t topped Dangerously In Love. Sasha Fierce didn’t even top BDay. It’s very disappointing because you want to like her. She is very talented but I don’t understand why she puts out such garbage and everyone accept it. This song isn’t as bad as the other horrid songs off that album but she is again in the most skimpy outfits. Let’s not even talk about Video Phone. That is trash and should only be heard in pornos and strip clubs.

It seems like this video could’ve been shot the same day back in 2006 when she did her cover shoot for Giant magazine. The wardrobe costumes are very similar. Anyway, I loved it when she dusted off her Grammy’s and sat back in the recliner chair. HAHA. Good video, and the song is catchy too.

this song is fun and has a good beat.
but honestly since solange partly wrote it they shouldve let her keep it for herself after we heard her last album. it would fit in well, (too bad, so sad, whatever). @ baron and cute chica, ya’ll are right. if she wants people to focus on her talent and not her looks, then she needs to display her takent more and her looks less in her videos. i mean she’s sexy and has a great body, we get it but people will see you only by the way you are portrayed. and imo i liked her frist two albums a lot more than her third. the first one was one where i heard the best songs from and i would still listen to. i think the second one was where she just peaked, i mean sales wise, it obvious that #3 is here most successful but, i felt like she was just at her best with B’day. hey, that’s how i feel, you aint really a fan if you aint honest, right?

Dough I agree with you. This reminds me so much of Ashanti’s video good good. The difference between the two video’s is that Ashanti looks more classy while this video looks like trash. Sorry fans/stans but the truth of the matter is Beyonce looks like a quick phuck while Ashanti’s video is more like a classy lady that I would bring flowers and slowly serenade her with my love.

At first I looked at this song as single material, and was EXTREMELY unimpressed/dissapointed. But If this is a gift to her fans, then we should just look at is as that. Nothing to take seriously though. Beyonce is an icon so this is prolly just her having fun.

I’m looking forward to seeing who the new Queen is gonna be when it comes to african american women. We got rihanna on top, ciara coming back hard, and im curious to see keri’s approach cuz i’ve always looked at her as a mix between RihRih and CiCi

I’m not going to lie, i thought the video + song (i didn’t even hear the song until now) were going to be disappointing but i was surprised. The song is pretty decent and Beyonce killed in the video, she looked gorgeous in every scene. Why she would randomly release the video now is beyond me though.

I’m a fan for her talent and her R&B side, but this is just another porno accompanied by trashy cookie-cutter music. She has an amazing voice, and we get that she’s hot, but I really wish she would take the time to produce something of quality.

I really liked this song and video. The song reminded me of my friend who is currently separated. I love her songs and how her songs can speak out for women. Beyonce is strong, beautiful, smart, talented, great voice, and such an inspiration. I don’t like outfits that show a lot of cleavage, but if you have a great body like Beyonce than there is no shame in showing it. Some might hate on Beyonce because of her style or clothes but it’s not like she is a 300 pound female. She has a great body that she works hard to be fit so why not be proud of it. I hope she keeps writing songs and making videos, can’t wait to see what she will do next.
