Rap-Up.com || Video: Lil Wayne f/ Shanell

Lil Wayne and Shanell are on the run. The Young Money fugitives search for the finish line on their collaboration “Runnin’,” the second video from Rebirth to premiere this week.

Shanell explained the song’s origin in an interview with Rap-Up TV. “I actually just jumped in the booth and started singing and screaming, and Wayne actually liked it and he was like, ‘Let me put a verse on it,’” she said. “It was gonna be something I probably would’ve kept for myself, but it worked out the way he put it together.”

American Star feat. Shanell is definitely one of the best songs on the entire album, it needs video treatment.
