R. Kelly

R. Kelly faced his fear of flying and boarded a plane to South Africa to perform at the 2010 FIFA World Cup kick-off ceremonies. The Pied Piper has penned “Sign of a Victory,” an inspirational song much like his classic “I Believe I Can Fly.” Declared the official anthem for the World Cup, it features Africa’s Soweto Spiritual Singers.

“It’s definitely no doubt a humanity song, and I’m hoping that everybody feels the same way when they hear it,” he told the AP. “[I’m] hoping they can be as touched by it as I was when I heard it in my head.”
