Dre Day is finally upon us. Six years in the making, Dr. Dre ~~releases~~ leaks the first single from the album everyone’s been waiting for, Detox. The hip-hop icon shows that the East Coast vs. West Coast beef is just water under the bridge by enlisting Brooklyn boy Jay-Z on the Scott Storch production. Was it worth the wait? Note that this is unlikely the final version.

Damn… what is it with artists coming back from long hiatuses putting out garbage albums? Christina Aguilera, and now Dre… I hope Justin Timberlake’s next album isn’t garbage either, or I will stop hoping for Lauryn Hill to come out of retirement, cause I would not want her to make a comeback with a crappy album.

Dr Dre should stop to make rap! He’s not in the loop anymore! His productions on relapse were aweful, and on recovery (Masterpiece btw), so bad sounds a lot like a t.i song. And here his flow is annoying.

I reckon this is 1 of the many tracks that have been discarded from the Detox album. The beat doesn’t even sound like a Scott Storch production. There is lyrically no reference(s) in this song to consider it is “Under Pressure”. Should be on a mixtape.
