Rap-Up.com || Lady Gaga Cooks Up Bitter New Album

Lady Gaga is pulling out the big guns on the cover of Rolling Stone‘s new issue. But that’s not the only thing Gaga is firing off. She also reveals details about her next album in the magazine.

The pop superstar plans to announce the title of her third album at midnight on New Year’s Eve. “I think I’m gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo,” she says of the follow-up to last year’s The Fame Monster, due early next year.

Gaga is already well into crafting her next opus. “I’ve been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it’s finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don’t. I write music every day.”

While she may be known for her fun, dance records, she plans to tackle some more serious topics on her next project. “Why are we still talking about ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’?” she asks. “It’s like, what fucking year is it? It makes me crazy! And I have been for three years baking cakes—and now I’m going to bake a cake that has a bitter jelly. The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be.”

Lady Gaga will launch the second leg of her North American “Monster Ball” tour on June 28 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Now she’s gonna use her catchy pop beats to deliver messages since EVERYONE is listening. I supported her when she seemed like a regular pop artist and she put put out The Fame, but now I do not agree with most of her views and goals. I’m sure I’m not the only one who wishes they never helped tot give this girl a platform. We’ve created a monster. :(

I agree with I Am…Sasha Fierce…….I’m all for having a message in songs and music videos, but once she started pushing the homosexual lifestyle (Alejandro music video) and using blasphemous imagery, I was done with her. Don’t get me wrong…she does do some great things too. I heard about her doing some fundraiser for Lupus. I just can’t support someone who goes against God.

The reason why she’s going against religion is because some god-believers purposefully go out of their way to PHYSICALLY ABUSE, VERBALLY ABUSE and DENY THE CIVIL RIGHTS of LGBT people. I’m ok with religious people, as long as they don’t use it as an excuse to be a BULLY. I miss the Just Dance / Poker Face Lady Gaga, not this weird, different and desire to be artistic one. However, I refute the claim that she’s going against God because she stated eating rosary beads in the video was “desire to take in the holy”.

@ I Am…Sasha Fierce, it seems like you only liked Gaga when she had long blonde hair and sang songs like ‘Pokerface & Just Dance’ ["I supported her when she seemed like a regular pop artist"]- get real, she knows she’s not Britney Spears pretty and she’s fine with that. She knows what she’s doing is awkard and unfamilar to music, but she’s changing the way we think of regular POP and DANCE songs. So wha if she does not sketch a literal interruptation of her songs in her video’s, so what if she aspires to be unique as an artist, vocalist, and performer? And you do not agree with her goals? She wants her fans to feel like they can be free and liberate the selves from the hell that others put them through-prejudice, racism, discrimination, bullying, etc. She desires to establish equality for both men and women. She’s trying to obtain all her dreams, hopes, and goals with her music. Good luck trying to find other artists in this industry who would spend their lives try to save their fans with their music because you won’t find anyone else quite like Gaga.

The religious symbolism is not meant to denote anything negative, but represents the character’s battle between the dark forces of this world and the spiritual salvation of the Soul. Thus at the end of the film, she chooses to be a nun, and the reason her mouth and eyes disappear is because she is withdrawing her senses from the world of evil and going inward towards prayer and contemplation. She’s trying to obtain all her dreams, hopes, and goals with her music. She already has crazy weird music videos so why not have fresh original music to go with it. I’m gonna say the same as has been said before: why is she on this site? There are other pop artists who collab with hip-hop/R&B artists that could easily be better for this site.
