M.I.A. hosted a private event to celebrate Nylon magazine’s Music Issue at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood on Tuesday (June 23), right down the street from where Drake was holding court at the Bing party. The controversial singer was dressed head-to-toe in denim, holding an iPhone (connected to the Google, connected to the government). She dined on Asian fare at the hotel’s Asia de Cuba restaurant surrounded by hipsters.
