Rap-Up TV: Danja Talks New Britney Spears and T.I. Music

Rap-Up TV interviewed Danja on the red carpet at last week’s ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. We asked the super-producer about working on new projects for two of music’s biggest stars, Britney Spears and T.I. He reveals that he is in pre-production for Britney’s album and plans on creating some “hard-hitting, uptempo, high-energy” records, while his contributions to T.I.’s King Uncaged will have a more worldly, aggressive sound.

    YES! I’m happy to hear that he’s working with Britney, i loved everything that he’s produced for her previously. “Kill the Lights” which he produced for her 2008 “Circus” album should have been a single, such a hot song.

    I really hope Britney comes with a more personal album which shows her creativity and heart. I love Gimme More, BTI, Get Naked and stuff but I want more heartfelt songs about her past and her life…

    I hope Danja produces a good bulk of the songs on Britney’s new album like he did with Blackout which is undoubtedly one of the greatest pop albums of recent years. Danja+Britney=Magic!
