Rap-Up TV: Yelawolf Shares Meeting with EminemAfter producer Jim Jonsin told Yelawolf how impressed Eminem was with him, the Alabama MC traveled to Detroit to meet the man himself. Yela shared his trip to The D with Rap-Up TV at last week’s ASCAP Awards, describing how Em knew the lyrics to his song “Pop the Trunk” and was passing out his mixtape Trunk Muzik to others. Things went so well that the two may even collaborate on his debut album Trunk Muzik: 0-60, due this September on Interscope Records. While the rappers may have the same skin tone, Em told him to disregard the comparisons. “He told me himself, for the people comparing you to me, ‘Not only do you not sound anything like me, but you don’t sound anything like I’ve heard before,’” revealed Yela. “So that’s from the mouth of the horse.” TweetYou can leave a response, or trackback from your own site. 5 CommentsLeave a Reply

He wannabe’s Em?! He talks like him, acts like him.. “You know what I’m saying?”
He should start being himself and not a Slim Shady Mimicking or whatever.
I respect him, but .. yeah.. Don’t be a Slim Shady Look-A-Like, be yourself.
