Kelis, wearing a rainbow-colored outfit, brightened up the morning by performing her latest single “4th of July (Fireworks)” on the “Today” show. She also discussed how motherhood has influenced her music. Her new album Flesh Tone was released today in the U.S.

This is probably one of my favorite outfits I have ever seen her in. It’s so tropical and bright. Loved the performance. But I flatlined at the awkwardness that followed. “Your song is where in the UK? Number 5 is it?” “Honestly I have no idea.” *Sad face* Kathy Lee & Hoda are dumb as hell.
