Rap-Up TV: Bangladesh Reinvents Kelly Rowland and R. Kelly

“A Milli” hitmaker Bangladesh continues his conversation with Rap-Up TV, sharing details on Kelly Rowland’s new album and what it’s like to work with her. “The music that we’ve done is just hard, it’s edgy, but it’s still sexy, and it’s not raunchy,” he said. “What I like to do when I go in with artists, I like to recreate and reinvent ’em, even if they didn’t need that.”

He also lights up when speaking about a song he did for R. Kelly. “This is the ultimate reinvention, and I ain’t hyping it. It’s concept crazy, beat crazy,” he revealed of the collaboration with Ludacris. “Everybody’s doing R. Kelly and they’re winning with it, and he’s not.”

Plus, find out which Bangladesh-produced hit Kellz missed out on and the singer who originally had her sights set on Beyoncé’s “Diva.”

“Everybody’s doing R. Kelly and they’re winning with it, and he’s not.” Bangladesh

Its not just R Kelly Its everyone… Nicki is running with Lil Kim’s image and style, Lady Gaga is running away with Madonna’s image and style , Songs is running away with R Kelly image.

Its sad times in music right now.. Kids these days have no respect. Their followers show no respect for those except for the ones they follow.. Sad times

Bangladesh is a good producer. I love all his beats, especially Beyonce’s “Video Phone” and Kelly’s “Smooches.”

I’m loving Kelly’s new sound! I thought Rico Love was working on Kelly’s album? Either way her album will be hot! She is shooting her new video Grown Woman next week! It was confirmed today on Philly’s radio station by her.

Yes, Kelly is so nice that she turned down an opp to perform her world cup song, “Everwhere You Go” at the South Africa World Cup, which had the highest U.S. ratings ever (24.3 million) to attend LaLa’s wedding. Awww, that’s so sweet. Kelly relented the spotlight to Shakira’s world cup song. Any other diva in the making would not have turned down that huge chance to turn casual fans into hardcore fans. I guess that’s what makes Kelly so sweet; her loyalty to her friends and sisters. She’s a little like Jennifer Aniston. Awwww.
