Rap-Up.com || Kelly Rowland Sets New Release Date

Kelly Rowland is not quite done recording her album. The Destiny’s Child alum has decided to push back her third solo effort to October 26, Rap-Up.com has learned. It was previously slated for a September 21 release.

Akon and Tricky Stewart have recently come on board, joining an all-star roster of talent that includes David Guetta, Jim Jonsin, Ne-Yo, Dr. Luke, Stargate, and Bangladesh.

Kelly is asking fans to help name her new album. The person who submits the winning title will receive a personalized iPad.

They may as well drop it now. She’s not going to sale either way and I doubt she gets ever gets a solo hit. Honestly, they should have released her when “Love takes over” was big in the UK.

@ri: i could see christina come back (everybody has flop albums — britney, madonna, janet, mariah, etc. so she could bounce back from this), but the other two, not so much. kelly won’t sell anything in america regardless of when she releases it.

…, Britney’s lowest selling album to date was “Blackout” back in 07 and even that sold nearly 300,000 copies in the first week so i would hardly call that a flop. It also went on to sell over 900,000 copies with practically no promotion.
Unfortunately for Kelly Rowland, unless she really puts herself out there on every TV show and what not then i don’t see this album being successful. It’s a shame too because “Commander” is such a hot song.

Ya’ll haters comments mean nothing because ya’ll aren’t fans. Kelly’s fans are united and trust and believe, we’re buying 5+ albums at a time so if ya’ll ain’t buying, ya’ll will be replaced easily. The promo is on point, the label, and the artist so SHE CAN’T GO WRONG!!!! Whether ya’ll like it or not.

I love kelly but this is ridiculous, beyoncé is expected to drop her album within the next 6 months and with all these pushes what if they end up coming same time? Ppl are gonna say she is sabotaging kelly, promo means nothing if u are gonna keep changin yo dates!

omg today was the best day ever 0 i heard grown ass woman not ont once but twice on two of our cities most popular radio stations – I ALOMOST SWURVED OFF THE RD WHEN I CAME ON – heres the story lol – i was jamming to my home made best of kelly cd ranging from tracks from simply deep to ms kelly to the kelly rowland album but i only have commander and the extended remix along with shake them haters off and “on and ON” i dont have rcg or gaw on the cd so i took a break from the cd to listen to the radio and after 2 songs low and behold without introduction i heard it come on – i had not too long got in my car leaving my dad’s house and it came on – i felt like i was in another zone – i didnt belive it at first but OMG so i sat in the car and listned to the whole song – then i told my friends about it as i met up with them and an hr later it came on again this time with my bestie in the car with me and on another radio station at that – MS KELLY IS GETTING IT IN AND I AM SO DAMN HAPPY – when ms kelly was out i never rally heard like this but we all know that story! sorry about the rant but i had to share this story with my truly kelly fans – its her time and its about time!!!! worrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!
