Rap-Up.com || Black Eyed Peas Announce New Album

The Black Eyed Peas have new bragging rights. Their inescapable hit “I Gotta Feeling” has become the best-selling song in digital history with 6 million downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It stayed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 weeks last summer.

“We came out in ’98 and our career, if you would look at it on chart, there’s no dips in it,” will.i.am told AP. “For our career to still be healthy and vibrant and doing things like 6 million downloads, it’s pretty significant.”

The Peas, who performed Friday on “Good Morning America’s” Summer Concert Series, also made another big announcement. The follow-up to their double-platinum album The E.N.D., titled The Beginning, is almost finished and tentatively due at the end of the year. “It symbolizes growth, new beginnings and starts, fresh new perspective,” said will.i.am.

Oh Lord, no please, no more albums from these clowns, they haven’t put out a decent album since Elephunk, everything else since then has been pure GARBAGE, and unfortunately it seems the more they suck, the more popular they become, please go away, we already have enough WHACK songs dominating the radio.

say what u will bout them but they are not only makin paper but they stayin relevant…6x platinum song…dats unheard of… the E.N.D double platinum in this recession (and they’re still sellin)

ppl are too damn opinionated when it comes to music dese days…if its not slow and about changing the world failed relationships, or a love song it’s not good music…please, ppl just wanna have fun and dance

just because there album is not full of hardcore boom bap streat beats doesnt mean what they do isnt hip hop. U can hear hip hop on every song on e.n.d. Sure they are POPular artists but so is jay-z and kanye west. Appl d app and will i am and taboo and fergie all rap. Hip hop is so diverse and its just not limited to one style. I hope its great like there last album. Maybe it wasnt for everyone but it was feel good music that u have a good time to
