Rap-Up.com || Video: Usher and Ciara Duet on ‘Imagine’

Usher kicked off his New Look Foundation’s inaugural World Leadership Awards in Atlanta on Friday (Aug. 6) with a crowd-pleasing series of hits including “OMG” and “There Goes My Baby.”

He brought out Ciara for a special duet of John Lennon’s classic “Imagine” to help inspire tomorrow’s leaders. The fellow Atlantans also honored former President Bill Clinton with the Service Legacy Award for his public service.

I love it! Ciara and Usher sounded so great together! They should turn it into a track! That would sound so amazing. I love how Ciara voice has completely stepped up! She may not be the best singer in the world, but she can sing!

Ciara fans got to live on this site because everyone know they both just messed up a perfectly beautiful song, That was a HORRIBLE RENDITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Usher know he should have used other singers with more powerful and beautiful vocals. People learn how to be truthful we all have artist we love but they will never get better if we don’t tell them the truth about their singing abilities. Clearly without the studio sound behind her vocals she sound like you and I, just replay and tell me she don’t, STOP IT PEOPLE, THAT WAS JUST WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!!

i think that the song may have been bigger than both of them. i think it was decent though, but not great. but then again, i couldn’t really hear the vocals much past the music… and that’s coming from a ciara stan.

Ciara’s vocal’s are weak, Usher basically carried her through the performance. Ciara’s management must have her gassed making her believe that she can cut it live, when she clearly can’t.
Vocally she ‘NEVER’ deliever’s.

now ill admit ciara isent the strongest singer, but she sure doesnt sound horrible, she sounds good but with alot of “haters” unless ci sounds like beyonce,witney houston or anyother powerhouse singer they’re not pleased, and it feeds their hate smh. ciara sounded good (not great). work on vocal volume, and improve riffs & runs and she will be a pretty dam good singer

& if you knew, John Legend didn’t sing songs loud or belt. He sung stuff suddently so Ci did just right. & on top of that Usher had one of those Mikes connected to his face, so it was easier for him to sing more clearly & for you to hear him, Ci had a regular mike. & you can hear her really sing beautiful from 2:12-2:20, get em’ CiCi! Stay mad everybody else while Ci collect them coints & 6 digits :)
