J. Cole Talks Debut, Drake, and Dating On-Air with Nelly

Nelly chopped it up with J. Cole in one of his first interviews since temporarily taking over hosting duties on St. Louis’ Hot 104.1 radio station.

Aside from expressing mutual admiration for one another, the Roc Nation rapper discussed the release date of his debut album (November/December), keeping the title under wraps, graduating from college, Jay-Z likely being the only guest on the album, his dream collaborations, Drake comparisons, and who he’s dating. Sorry ladies, he’s already taken.

    Jcole comes from the heart….Drake musik lacks that, he sounds like his other young money ppl..lyrics especially. I promise if Drake didnt drop first jcole wouldve made drake Background.

    j. cole got that good feel good music and shit u can really relate to plus everything that he says and raps about aint nonsense thats the main thing that i like about him. unlike drake he koo and everything but j. cole vs drake its a win win for j. cole no doubt and i cant wait for his albumn in november #colewar lets get it!
