Rap-Up.com || New Music: Keri Hilson

Fellas, don’t cross Keri Hilson. The blonde bombshell is tired of the excuses and has reached her “Breaking Point,” as she sings on the first single from her sophomore album No Boys Allowed, due later this year. The vintage-sounding record was written by Keri and produced by Timbaland. A video will be shot in Atlanta in early September.

“Keri’s intense focus on No Boys Allowed has been inspiring to both Timbaland and I, in and out of the studio,” says Zone 4 President Polow Da Don, who also co-executive produced the project. “This will definitely be one of the best albums of 2010/2011.”

The title makes a lot of sense and is really straight foward. Keri wants a Man not a Boy so the title really isnt degrading. A boy doesnt take care of resposibilities, is a lier, a cheater, doesnt admit to there wrong doings. Im kinda feelin it now. i aint mad at u Keri.

I love it. From Monica to fantasia and now Keri it looks like r&b artists are going back to that old time vintage sound and It’s incredible because it shows off their vocal abilities, comes across so authentic and really challenges the current state of music. It’s a great song. Not something I expected from Timbaland at all. I think people really just need to let Keri shine. I never understand why there is so much hate for her on blogs. She is pretty. She writes her own music (for real). She can sing her but off. I just don’t get it but whatever. Sang them to silence Miss Keri!

Its funny cause when an artist drops true music that has true meaning they immediately say it sucks without even listening to the lyrics.
