A silhouetted Ciara makes us “Speechless” with the cover for one of two new singles from her forthcoming album Basic Instinct. The-Dream-aided ballad has been chosen as the follow-up to “Ride,” along with the upbeat “Gimmie Dat.” Peep the splashy artwork for the latter and listen to the final mix of “Speechless” below.

I’m loving the “Speechless” single cover. Wish they would’ve did something around the lines of that cover for all the other covers. The “Gimmie Dat” cover is a little eh to me.

Ciara is by far the best but I hate how she is under-rated. People tend to forget that Ciara was the innovator for a new era of dance, she was the first lady of crunk and on top of that she is the writer and visionary for several of her projects. Ciara is one of the top watched artist and the respect level towards her should be much higher within the industry. I’m just hoping that Basic Instinct will take her career where it should’ve gone during the evolution. Ciara has to begin her own tour and her management needs to make sure several dollars in advertising and media are thrown behind her project because she deserves it. I know us fans will make our fair contributions by buying albums and not doing the free download thing to her. Ciara works hard yall , let’s get her back on top.

When she revealed that album cover I was damn near “Speechless” Lol! It’s a Beautiful and Powerful album cover. It fits perfectly with the song! I LOVE the new mastered version without The Dream! This is going to be an Urban Smash!!! I know the video will be beautiful!

“Gimmie Dat” is a perfect single choice for Pop/Mainstream. It’s going to be a Worldwide Hit! I know the choreography for “Gimmie Dat” is going to be Amazing!!!

Ciara’s one of the hardest working artist in the industry. She has so much passion and dedication it’s ridiculous. With all that she went through during the Fantasy Ride Era she has managed to make it through. It made her stronger! And she’s coming for Blood!!! This is going to be an Amazing Era!!! I love the Gimme Dat cover. I think the Speechless one is ok. And lmfao @ them removing The Dream from the song. Hahahaha. Smart move though with all the drama he’s been in lately. Same reason she probably didn’t release the song she did with Chris Brown on her 3rd album. Ugh I liked the version with The Dream more though. Now I gotta learn the whole new verse. Lmao. And her vocals on the new parts of the song sound louder than the old parts. Very cut and paste.

WOW, Ciara looks absolutely amazing. She literally left me SPEECHLESS with that cover. The song is great, even better without The-Dream on it, however I LOVE both versions. Gimmie Dat cover is perfect, fits the song very well. If the video was to look anything like that, I would die.

I think that ppl should just support ciara if you like her and not bring other artist into it. There is no point in talkin about another artist. If you like someboby else keep it to yourself. Beyonce, rihanna, and keri hilson are all diffrent artist and have diffrent things to offer the music world and have done so. Lets just talk about the artist at hand and keep it on that person. Everybody has something to offer and has proven that.
