Single Cover: will.i.am & Nicki Minaj – ‘Check It Out’

Check It Out

Will.i.am and Nicki Minaj show off their superhero swag on the cover of their joint single “Check It Out.” The song goes to iTunes tomorrow and Rap-Up.com has your first look at the comic book-inspired artwork. The pop tune, which will be included on Nicki’s debut album Pink Friday, samples The Buggles’ “Video Killed the Radio Star.” Listen to the mastered mix below.

    It’s not bad, but it looks sketchy, literally. Maybe if there was color on their bodies, it’d not look so unfinished. It’s cool conceptually, but it’s looks like it’s not done.

    she smart as hell this single is obviously for her caucasion fans and he last single “right through me ” is for black people. this girl is smart as hell!!! plus she used this producer that everyone just automatically plays smart move nicki whether people like it or not !!! …i think its a nice song. and this lady is on her grind and on the rise ….THE WHITE KIDS ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS !

    This song is gonna shoot to the top of the charts Nicki is being smart she wants a number one single and this right here has the potential to be that. Its not selling out, her singles need to be very radio friendly. Im tired of heads saying Hip Hop is dead fuk outta here with that if u dont like it go listen to your favortite rapper.

    don’t like nicki’s parts, especially her first verse- too much autotune and too pop for my tastes. it’s catchy though, and the pop audience will eat this up, i’d put money on that. i don’t even really like nicki, but i’ll give her her props, she’s got a hit!

    nicki is going to be BIG, thats my prediction and even : the song is going to debut at number one on the hot 100.why am i saying that? the base is catchy and popular, minaj is growing up and she’s the man, and will i am is on the top.but i think nicki could do a little more rap like in “shake it 4 daddy” she smashes in this song.
