Rap-Up.com || Tracklisting: JoJo – ‘Can’t Take That Away From Me’

With less than 24 hours to go before JoJo’s mixtape Can’t Take That Away From Me premieres exclusively on Rap-Up.com, we’re serving up a teaser with the tracklisting and production credits. The Boston songstress explores new territory on the 11 tracks, including the sensual single “In the Dark.” Chad Hugo of The Neptunes, Kenna, Travis Garland, Neff-U, Oak, Beau Dozier, and Jordan Gatsby are among the contributors.

“This mixtape is more experimental,” JoJo told Rap-Up.com. “I was able to do some things that were more soulful, incorporate live instruments, and say things that I wouldn’t normally say on an album. I was just able to take more of a risk. It is all over the place, just like me.”

ALL I WANT IS EVERYTHING!? WHAAAAAT!? It’s kinda like we’re getting the album we were waiting for, just the older edition. Okay. I don’t get it. The last track on “Can’t Take That Away From Me” is “All I Want Is Everything”. Her forthcoming album is called “All I Want Is Everything”. So shouldn’t AIWIE (song) be ON AIWIE (album) itself? This is confusing.

The single premiered around 10am last week so have patience, lol. Nice to see that this is the most read story of the week, too. A buzz is beginning to build.
I too was a bit shocked to see ‘AIWIE’ on this tracklisting but then again, the title of the album has been that since like 2007 and she probably recorded it even earlier. As someone said, they probably feel the old album is kinda outdated so they have to keep on adding. Also, maybe AIWIE will be on both. I remember Trey Songz had a couple of albums on both his mixtape and album. Even the eventual single ‘Yo Side Of The Bed’
