Rap-Up.com || New Music: Chris Brown – ‘Yeah 3x’ [Snippet]

While you were sleeping, the Bay Area’s WiLD 94.9 premiered a snippet of Chris Brown’s “Yeah 3x,” one of the pop singles from his upcoming fourth album. “I wanna see ya tonight, yeah, yeah, yeah,” sings the comeback kid over the thumping electro-dance tune, which recalls his smash “Forever.” After the success of “Deuces” on urban radio, this could be the mainstream hit that puts Breezy back on the pop charts.

Luckily for all the C.B. fans who missed it, Rap-Up.com has captured a radio rip of the party record for your listening pleasure.

This song is great! Nice and fun- i hope it does top 10 on billboard hot 100- at most top 5 or even number 1! Anyway, its a great song, just great. Awesome Chris. I’m a proud fan of Chris Brown. Congrats, really man, congrats.

Heard this at like 3am this morning! I love this song! You can’t compare Chris Brown to Rihanna for the simple fact that Chris Brown actually WRITES his music. Rihanna doesn’t, she changes a word or two and gets album credit on rated r. She doesn’t write a lick of her dance music it’s all made for her so they can make quick money. She’s not a real ‘artist’. Chris Brown writes or co writes 95% of all his material. He even wrote ‘disturbia’. His songs are not made to outshine Rihanna, basically there’s no competition because he actually cares to write his own stuff! He is a great pop artist just as he is an R&B artist! I can’t wait to hear the Drizzy/Chris Brown song.

I actually like graffitti, some songs I could do without but I liked it but this song not so much. I think chris could cross over with a dance track that is not too poppy but has lyrics with meaning kind of like he did on his first album but thats just my opinion.

his music. And it does make him a better artist than
someone that doesn’t have great vocals, doesn’t have
great stage presence, and just has great poppy songs
written for her. The Motown artists you named and
Celine Dion don’t have to write their own songs because they were/are phenomenal vocalists and entertainers.

My feelings are somewhat juxtaposed. I love Breezy’s style and his voice and his unconditional love for music, but, to me, the instrumental, the lyrics, the sound feels like he’s “selling out”. I want the real Breezy that got a #1 R&B/Hip-Hop charted song from a mixtape, not this Breezy who’s trying to follow-up on a soon-to-be dying fad. It’s about the same way I feel for Rihanna’s new single, it’s selling more than just records…
