Rap-Up.com || New Music: Kanye West f/ Mos Def, Swizz Beatz, Raekwon, & Charlie Wilson

Kanye makes it another G.O.O.D. ~~Friday~~ Saturday in the fourth installment of his weekly series, where he plans to drop a new track every Friday until Christmas. The freshest joint of the bunch is “Lord Lord Lord,” where ‘Ye trades verses with yet another all-star roster of artists including Mos Def, Swizz Beatz, Raekwon, and Charlie Wilson over seven-and-a-half soulful minutes.

Mos sets it off, Charlie provides the chorus, Yeezy falls into the boobie trap, and the newly married Swizzy shouts out his boo Alicia: “A.K. on the lap like what’s that?” Plus finish it off with the Chef, who returns from Justin Bieber’s “Runaway Love (Remix)” to serve up a second helping.

Pass. Call me a loser but I just feel uncomfortable about them repeating the word Lord over and over..

feels redundant. Why is it needed?

It’s hot, thought kanye would go a little harder than he did. Really didn’t need swizzy on it. Wasn’t bad but I think that’s verse wasn’t need. I just think that Mos set a good pace REA ran wit it but yezzy and swizzy kind of change it a little. But if they didn’t we probably wouldnt have heard the song. It has to be somewhere. But over all good song, ready to listen to the ablum.
