Nick Cannon and Ne-Yo were the perfect gentlemen in matching black suits as Island Def Jam rocked Times Square for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City on Thursday (Sept. 23). Ne-Yo, who performed at the charity event along with labelmates Taio Cruz and Jessica Jarrell, said it was the least he could do. “I’m a firm believer in God,” stated the R&B crooner. “I feel like if you’re blessed and you don’t use your blessings to be a blessing to someone else, then your blessings stop.”
J. Cole warmed up the crowd at EA Sports’ Triple Double event. The Roc Nation rapper created the theme song for the NBA Elite 11 soundtrack.
Smile! Shakira snapped a pic of fans outside New York’s Ed Sullivan Theater using her pink BlackBerry before heading inside to perform her spicy single “Loca” on Thursday’s “Late Show with David Letterman.”
Lenny Kravitz, rocking a strangely similar outfit to Shakira’s, walked the streets of SoHo in platform boots and a man bag. Rock star swagger?
Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am continued the man purse trend at the 40th Annual Vision Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
