Rap-Up.com || Album Cover: Rihanna

Let’s get Loud! Rihanna is burning up on the red-hot cover of her fifth album in five years, arriving November 16. The Barbados beauty keeps her eyes closed in the close-up photo, smoldering with her flaming red hair, luscious lips, and “Rebelle Fleur” neck tattoo.

The project is already in high gear with the electro-pop single “Only Girl (In the World)” sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, while a video for the follow-up “What’s My Name” was shot over the weekend in New York City.

this is hands down the best cover ive seen this year.

This is soooo effin gorgeous. Suttle and soft, yet Screams Loud. Ciara needs to take notes because that ghetto lacefront cheap looking cover aint working. Now her speechless cover was awsome. that shud be use as the basic instants cover.

The face on the cover technique works very well for Rihanna she looks flawless this is a very classic looking album cover and thats exactly what Def Jam was going for. The only thing is that Def Jam is really rushing her project i think they should have waited till 2011 to release this but i cant complain.

It’s a cute cover. Maybe this album will do a lot better than her last one which to me was just a mess! I mean I liked “Russian Roulette”, “Fire Bomb”, and “Rude Boy” (by far the best track on the album and the only track the reached #1 on the Billboard 100), but “Rude Boy” was the only single that helped the album reach as high as it did. I’m sure that her going through a domestic violence case also boosted her sales as well. Her best songs this year other than “Rude Boy” were collaborations with Jay-Z “Run This Town” and Eminem “Love the way you lie.” Just be honest with yourselves, was “Rated R” the album you hoped it would be? From the sounds of this first song “Only Girl (I The World)” this album will be alot of electronic dance beats trying to give her fans the “S.O.S. Rihanna” when fans really started to fall in love with her. “Pone De Replay” put her on the map, but S.O.S. sent her mainstream…

i agree wit J.J and i hear you Please!!!…but first u have to take into account that maybe she didnt want to be so literal with the cover, maybe she was going for irony or maybe she had the colors of her “hair” and her lips to be the “loud” factor, metaphorically her album will be vibrant and vivid but not obvious, just like her album cover
