hell yeah @ moneytalks i think people r sleepin on what Ciara bringin with Basic Instinct i know for sure it will do way better than Fantasy Ride, maybe not Goodies status but at least up there with The Evolution which was an Epic Album. Th Song Titles (Girls Get Your Money, Turn It Up (Heavy Rotation), What He Wants For Dinner, Like I Was Single, Flaws) Gave Me Life And All I Know Is “I Run It” Better Be On The CD…. LOL I Know I Will Be Gettin My 10 Copies, On November 9th like she told us to in “Lose My Mind” :)

She wasn’t kidding when she said this was going to be one of her best videos. It was simple but definitely helped build on the emotion of the song. If only she will set a damn release date now for the album, then I’ll be set. This should definitely be a hit for her though on the R&B/Hip-hop charts.

I freakin’ love this video because it shows a mature grown up Ciara, she is 24 not 18, she can’t keep making these dance videos in the clubs or in the streets, she needs to mature as a woman, singer, songwriter and dancer and that’s what she’s doing this time around. Nice vid, but not a vid I would want to see over and over.

I wish she was dancing slow with someone and just showing she appreciates them. Yeah, it would have been typical, but more interesting.

Well she never said this was going to be her best video to date. She has said countless times that she doesn’t hype her video and never has. But Ciara including insiders in the music industry who has seen the final cut for the “Gimmie Dat” music video. Has said that “Gimmie Dat” is her best music video to date and they have never seen a female artist go this raw in a music video. Ciara and others have said that the “Gimmie Dat” video will be Amazing and the dancing is phenomenal.

I Love this video!!!
It’s Beautiful, yet simple, but serves the purpose of the song. Ciara looks Gorgeous!!! This song and music video shows us a different side of Ciara and lets us get to know her more as an artist.

I like how she took The Dream off of “Speechless” with Basic Instinct. Aside from Luda being featured on “Ride”, she’s displaying to her fans and the music world, who Ciara is as an artist/singer, as a dancer, her growth, her versatility, and who she is as an individual. With Basic Instinct Ciara will prove to the world that she is set to someday be labeled as an Icon/Legend.

The Basic Instinct Era is kicking into gear on full throttle and she’s really about to hit it big! Basic Instinct obviously won’t do 5 mill+ due to the fact that albums don’t sell well these days, but she will do very well. I can see her doing well first week and pulling The Evolution numbers or close, when the Basic Instinct Era comes to a close.

Can’t wait for the “Gimmie Dat” video to premiere this month!!!

Can’t wait for the album to drop this November!!!

“Gimmie Dat” video has only been said to be released in the month of October. I don’t know where everybody got October 1st from though…. *Shrugs*

what i dont get is, how come there are sooooo many ciara fans on here yhh, but when it comes to actually buying, none of you lot do. look at how much promo she gets and she only sold 81k copies(in 1st week) with fnatasy ride lol. and CB after his incident sold 102k(1st week) with graffiti so wts goin on dere. n r kelly sold 104k(1st week) wid hardly any prom an only releasing one song before the album dropped. im not hating im just wondering lol.

@ish That was because Ciara went from her RnB & Hip Hop sound to more of a pop sound. So a lot of “fans” didn’t agree with the fact that she went Pop om Fantasy Ride. That resulted in a lot of her “fans/stans” ditching her because she wen pop. Which ultimately resulted in lackluster first week sales and album sales. A lot of other things contributed to sales such as issues she was dealing with behind the scenes with betrayal from her old team and friends, legal issues, leaks, etc.

But all these “fans/stan” are crawling back now that she’s gone back to her roots. So she should be fine. Once “Speechless” takes off and “Gimmie Dat” is sent for adds and released and the “Gimmie Dat” video debuts (which will debut this month,October). She should be a lot more successful this time around.
