Rap-Up.com || New Music: Chris Brown f/ Drake, T.I., Kanye West, Fabolous, & André 3000

While his industry friends may have been few and far between a year ago, Chris Brown’s peers have embraced him once again. Hip-hop heavyweights Drake, T.I., Kanye West, Fabolous, and André 3000 throw their “Deuces” up on the all-star remix to Chris’ chart-topping hit off his Fan of a Fan mixtape.

Breezy revealed in a Ustream session that he is planning a video to accompany the remix. “We’re gonna shoot the video for that,” he told fans. “The video’s gonna be sick.”

The pop star is gearing up for the release of his fourth album F.A.M.E. (Forgiving All My Enemies), which may include the remix, along with the singles “Yeah 3x” and “Calypso,” produced by Polow Da Don.

I was reallly excited for this and to hear Andre 3000′s verse but I must admit I wasn’t fully impressed cause he could do much better. Drake impressed me he killed it, Kanye his thing so did Fabolous. T.I.’s verse was probably the one I cared the less about, but it wasn’t bad.

Something tells me this is unfinished, it sounds kinda tacked together and poorly mixed. In reality, I wish they’d take off 3Stax & Tip, 3stax dropped the ball, and Clifford was straight I just ain’t care about his verse that much. Drizzy, Yeezy, & Loso all kilt it though. I hope a final version comes out that’s different and involving my nigga CB more so

The remix is ok. Drake’s beat should have been throughout the song, cus im tired of the beat, #Radiosucks. Also, Andre 3000 could have been left out, his verse is horrible. And the winner is …. Drake.

The production sounds unfinished, like they used an amateur recording program and just put in everyone’s verses where they could.

First off, this is like a guys breakup song, so it wouldn’t make sense to have a female on the track.

I agree he should have Ciara featured on the album, but NOT this one. That would’ve be like have dudes rapping on the song Ladies Night w/ Missy, Kim, Mary etc.

I expected more with these rap heavy hitters man. Ppl get impressed easy because it’s just blah. No memorable verses or nothing. TI’s flow sounded like he was mentally retarded, staccato 1-2 step flow, like the male trina or some sht. (he could have done better) fab rhymed ish the whole first half of his verse. Kanye was aight dis fits him with his whiny attitude.
Maybe the dirty version would be better cuz im not dat impressed with the clean.

T.I was okay i usually love everything he does and would admit if i liked his part but at times i couldn’t even understand anything he was saying lol. 3000 had the tightest verse by far. Thus the name 3000. always a step ahead with such an humbling flow and demeanor. That’s what sharpening a craft is all about-find what’s missing and create or become that. When’s the last time you found a “chill like” humility in hip hop? Everybody, artists included will need it someday.
