Ho ho ho! Christmas comes early this year with the release of Mariah Carey’s “Oh Santa!,” the first single off her second X-Mas album Merry Christmas II You (due Nov. 2). The original tune, one of four penned by Mariah herself, features sleigh bells chiming under an ebullient piano melody. “Santa’s gon’ come and make him mine this Christmas,” sings Mimi on the Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox production. Get into the holiday spirit by listening below.

People, of course the ballads will be there. Her 1st single from Memoirs, was obsessed, but the rest was mostly ballads. Her 1st xmas album was also mostly ballads despite all i want for christmas is you.

So anyway, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SONG, Mariah will never disappoint man!!! I’m so happy! =)

Wow, I’m a huge fan but I too was skeptical about what it would sound like, but I’m pleasantly surprised, noting like what I imagined but so festive and catchy which is what a Xmas song is all about, reminds me of ‘hey ya’ by andre3000 with that beat/slaps. Very cool :)

I bet she is glad that these photos were taken in April 2010, before she became pregnant. Well, either way she is beautiful! I love this new song, she is wonderful with Christmas music. Not only does she write and sing everything she has ever done, unless it’s a cover. She dedicates it all to her fans. She is a angel and amazing, old Mariah is back, well she never left!!!! This song is awsome, i thought it would be a rip off of AIWFCIY, but this is way different and yet great, i only hope people will actually appretiate this fantastic song. She probably saved her future in music with this song and album. Let’s cross our fingers.
