Mary J. Blige Kicks Off Tour with Jazmine Sullivan, Miguel
Mary J. Blige stepped on stage in a form-fitting shiny bodysuit and boots on the first date of her “Music Saved My Life” tour at Chastain Park Amphitheater in Atlanta on Saturday night (Oct. 2). Before taking the stage with hits like “No Drama” and “I’m Goin’ Down,” Miguel and Jazmine Sullivan warmed up the crowd with their soulful music. MJB and Jazmine recently teamed up for the Swizz Beatz-produced remix of “Holding You Down (Goin’ in Circles)” from Jazmine’s sophomore album Love Me Back, now due November 30.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has been in and out of the lab cooking up her 10th studio album. “Yes, we’re working on one,” she tells the New York Daily News, revealing that some of the guests may include Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, Johnta Austin, and Ryan Leslie. “I don’t know what we’re calling it. I’m not rushing to come out with it. When it is done, it is done.”

I can’t believe they have pushed Jazmine’s album back again!!!! Why was that even necessary? I could see if her first single was struggling to move up the Billboard R&B charts,but its still rising and they’ve already leaked the second single which has gotten good feedback. Why does her label and management keep holding her back from opportunities that will help create more awareness for her talent. Honestly, the song and her music is doing all the promo on its own. Don’t see her on TV, magazines, her internet prescence is weak. I just don’t get how someone as talented as her, especially at a time when everyone sounds the same, is being slept on like this. Jazmine, please look around at those in charge of your career, instead of holding you down, they’re holding you back! You have many people anticipating this new album. We are waiting but we see what’s happening.
