Decked out in a pink NFL jacket for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Destiny’s Child diva sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” surrounded by 120 breast cancer survivors. Kelly will migrate to Miami tonight to perform during the halftime show at the Dolphins-Patriots game from Sun Life Stadium’s LIV nightclub. Her set will include “When Love Takes Over,” “Independent Women,” and “Survivor,” and feature more appearances by breast cancer survivors from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. “Breast cancer awareness is something particularly important to me, and I am thrilled to be working with survivors from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation,” stated Kelly. “I believe everyone should appreciate what these women have overcome in their lives to be with us today.” Watch Ms. Kelly sing for the cure below.

She had a cold indeed but even with the cold she did an impressive job, her vocal tone is amazing and the high note near the end during the “free-eeeeee!” was OUTSTANDING! One of the best singers of our generation without a single doubt.

not a good look for someone trying to escape the shadow of beyonce. ’cause, in all honesty, beyonce killed her anthem performance. granted it was at the superbowl. kelly is a better performer than this; she should’ve kept it simple.

even if she didnt have a cold it was great. knowing she wasnt even doing her best because of a cold, means shes just that more talented. go rowland & the giants

The title is off, a little! I think it meant to say “Kelly Rowland Sings the HELL OUT OF the National Anthem”!!! Those melismatic notes were brilliant!!! Go Kelly, go Kelly!!!

I’ve heard Kelly sing a ton of times and I’m pretty sure she had a cold or something. That was really great though! That’s a true star/performer that knows how to push on
