Rap-Up.com || Rihanna Hints at Second Nicki Minaj Collaboration

Two of the baddest chicks in the game may be making more noise with another collaboration. Rihanna has revealed that she and Nick Minaj are cooking something up for the hip-hop vixen’s Pink Friday debut.

It was previously noted that the femme fatales had worked on a track called “Raining Men” for RiRi’s fifth album Loud, but the two might have something else up their sleeves. “Nicki Minaj, we did a song together called ‘Raining Men,’ and we might be working on her album together also,” the Bajan babe tells London’s 95.8 Capital FM.

She also shares what her boyfriend Matt Kemp thinks of the “fearless, bold, and expressive” Loud. “For the most part, he actually loves everything on the album but ‘Who’s That Chick,’ he doesn’t really like that one,” she laughs. “I guess it’s too lightweight pop for him.”

However, the L.A. Dodger is a fan of the LP’s slower cuts. “He really likes the ballads on the album. Those are his favorite ones.”

Most of the tracks are uptempo except for two powerful ballads called “Scared of Beautiful” and her personal favorite “California King (Bed),” which she predicts will be the biggest song off the project.

Rihanna hopes to go on tour again next year and is already thinking about a repackaging of Loud.

Rihanna is a pop star . her music is not even hip hop at all unless jay-z or someone else makes her do a few chorus’s for a track. hip hop is in such a sad state of affairs these days. when this makes the news. You magazine is about rap yet you continue to write about non rap artists just because they are famous, what about all the rap artists that get no coverage

I don’t think it was Rihanna who said California King was her favorite song on the album & predicted that it will be the biggest song of the project, but the person who interviewed her.

Andd @Ankka…Nicki’s only released 2 Singles before “Massive Attack” which flopped and “Your Love” which went to the top…so you can’t determine that JUST yet, we’ll see when “Right Thru Me” actually takes effect on the Billboard. ‘
And @IllBill I think because Rap-Up is trying to NOT ONLY target Rap audiences but BLACK/African American artist’ so thats why they included all types of black artist.

i think it’s telling that matt really only likes the ballads on the album (which there are only two). this album will probably sell less that the last effort. looks like rihanna’s reign is letting up.

Also they almost always cover artists such as beaver, MJ (yes he can sing but it still doesn’t make him a rapper), soulja boy
They hardly cover Nas or the Wu-Tang or most other rap artists

Nicki need Rihanna to get a #1 hit on BB hot 100. Nicki has great features but her singles are WHACK. Her album will not do good. She is a gimmick and is not as near as beautiful as Rihanna. I am a man and I know. Nicki had much work done.
