Bruno Mars added a string section to his band for a performance of his No. 1 hit “Just the Way You Are” on Thursday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Rocking a fedora, black leather jacket over a red flannel, and dark denim jeans, the Hawaiian heartthrob effortlessly hit high notes on the sultry tune.

His debut Doo-Wops & Hooligans enters at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with almost 55,000 units sold, while his single remains No. 1 for a fourth week on the Hot 100. Another track on the album, “The Lazy Song,” debuts at No. 82.
