On Friday’s “Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” John Legend manned the piano while accompanied by a cellist and violinists for a soulful performance of his original composition “Shine” from his Wake Up! album and Waiting for Superman documentary. The R&B gentleman will bring his activism to a rally for President Obama in his homestate of Ohio this weekend.
