Rap-Up.com || Alicia Keys All Atwitter Over New Baby

She managed to keep the birth a secret until after the fact, but new mom Alicia Keys has broken her silence on her first child Egypt Daoud Dean, born on October 14. The singer, who was just nominated for four Soul Train Music Awards, took to her Twitter account to express the joy of motherhood and thank her well-wishers.

“There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to express a FEELING like this!!! Thank U 4 your love, support & prayers! ;-),” she tweeted.

Her husband Swizz Beatz retweeted his wife, adding a few words. “Much love for all the support everybody been showing but I want to shout out my Wife for being bigger then SUPERWOMAN!#GODSGIFT,” he said.

The couple wed in July on the French island of Corsica after they announced their pregnancy and engagement in May. This is the first child for Keys and the fourth for Swizz.
