Kanye West rises from the ashes on “Don’t Look Down (The Phoenix Story),” the latest G.O.O.D. Friday Saturday release. The rapper tells the tale of the phoenix over a marching beat, with some help from Lupe Fiasco, Big Sean, and Mos Def, who provides the hook.

‘Ye has dreams of raising a child with his phoenix, played by Selita Ebanks in his short film Runaway. “We made it from the alley straight up to the ballet/ We pulled up at the valet/ We’ll teach our daughter ballet/ We’ll raise a Beyoncé/ Maybe she’ll be a Halle/ You would’ve been the best mom, I would’ve been the best ‘Ye,” he raps.
