Kanye West has the end of the week locked down with G.O.O.D. Fridays, but Swizz Beatz is laying claim to Monday. The producer-rapper kicked off his Monster Monday giveaway series with the release of “DJ Play the Beat” featuring Estelle, boasting an uptempo clap-heavy beat. The British songbird holds it down on the sing-rap tip by repping for the U.K., while Swizzy hypes up the track with his signature ad-libs.

“I think I’m going to rep for the U.K. on my Monster Monday joint:) it’s time to showwwwwwwwwwwwww!,” tweeted Alicia’s hubby, who’s prepping the release of his third LP Haute Living. Start your week off right below.

something is wrong with his engineer’s ears. this mix and vocal levels are horrible, just like that jazmine/mjb remix for “holding you down”! what’s going on with the sound quality of music nowdays. i think all this technology is making us lazy.
