New Music: Quincy Jones f/ Amy Winehouse – ‘It’s My Party’

Quincy Jones brings Amy Winehouse back from hiatus to cover his first major hit as a producer, Lesley Gore’s 1963 classic “It’s My Party.” Produced by Mark Ronson, the updated rendition sees the embattled singer warbling over an instrumental straight out of the Motown era. This remake and more can be found on Mr. Jones’ tribute album Q: Soul Bossa Nostra (Nov. 9). Crash Amy’s ’60s party below.

    I miss Amy! I love this track but nobody captures her in the studio like Salaam Remi does!!! Nice try tho Quincy. And during the bridge I couldn’t understand her through her cockney accent, but I finally got it! Amy please come back!!! We miss you!
