Nicki Minaj Causes a Scene in Miami, Addresses Jealous Peers

Everyone wants a piece of the Barbie. Nicki Minaj attracted a massive crowd outside of Mansion in Miami on Monday night (Nov. 1). Wearing a flashy rock on her finger, the pink-haired raptress was mobbed by fans and autograph seekers as she exited the nightclub following a paid gig.

But with her unprecedented success comes more haters, including those within the industry. “These girls aren’t mad at me. They’re mad at themselves,” she told YRB magazine of her peers. “[It’s] jealousy, insecurity, and being broke. When you haven’t capitalized and you see I’m about to capitalize on this shit like it’s never been done before, then you’re mad at yourself.”
