Rap-Up.com || Video: Willow Smith Performs ‘Whip My Hair’ on ‘Ellen’

Willow Smith made her television debut on Tuesday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” performing her breakout hit “Whip My Hair.” The 10-year-old fashionista kicked it off by singing a few lines from Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World)” before busting out her empowering anthem with her Warriorettes crew.

“I was really nervous,” said a hyperventilating Willow following the performance. Ellen chatted with her and presented her with a customized neck brace so she can continue whipping her hair in style.

Her First performance was better than all of Rihanna’s performances. =D @roxanne it was good but no where near good enough to make me forget about beyonce and ciara. i give willow props because shes 9 but dont even go there. beyonce puts on a great live performance, and ciara lacks power house vocals but she does her thing live she always kills it.

First: for people like “king” – you are evil to talk badly about a child – seek help. Also, Kevin – the message is to ignore haters like you and move on with your life, to brush y’all off. Sorry you missed that.

With her voice: THAT’S what it sounds like when you REALLY sing during a performance, and she was nervous, but her potential shined through. If some of these other “stars” would really sing their songs on the mic when they perform then it would be a different experience (it would be on the whole without auto-tune, on albums for a start). For someone so young she has the whole package: good guidance for a start, good talent, good image. She was so cute and I like her dance crew! Hair and fashion is on point, too! Get it, Willow! You’re a star no matter what!
