Rap-Up.com || Video: Kanye West Delivers Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and Tirade at NYC Show

Kanye West surprised fans with a last-minute show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday night (Nov. 23). He performed his well-received album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy from top to bottom with special guests Nicki Minaj, Teyana Taylor, Rick Ross, Pusha T, Swizz Beatz, John Legend, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, CyHi the Prynce, and more.

Teyana provided backing vocals on “Dark Fantasy” and “All of the Lights,” while Nicki spit her show-stopping verse on “Monster.” Rick Ross was appropriately dressed in red for “Devil in a New Dress” and John Legend played the “Blame Game.”

And what would a Kanye show be without a rant? The outspoken rapper took a moment to deliver another passionate speech about Taylor Swift, George W. Bush, and the media.

“Everybody needs a villain, don’t we? We need to blame someone at all times,” said ‘Ye in reference to his remarks about Bush after Hurricane Katrina. “I was emotional. That was not exactly the way I wanted to word it. But I rode it, I rode it. Just as Taylor [Swift] never came to my defense in any interview and rode the wave and rode it and rode it. That’s the way I rode the wave of the Bush comment. It’s not about popular opinion, it’s about when you look in your heart and know what’s right from what’s wrong.”

He is a legend there is no other rapper(and not that many artists honestly) doing music on this level. Not one single rapper and that what makes him so great. I bought MBDTF and i cant stop playing it. This is his best album yet imo.

People misunderstand the Taylor Swift comment by Kanye when he says that she never came to his rescue……

What Kanye has done to G. Bush right now in saying everyone has flaws and calling-out the media out for exagerating the ‘lowest moment’ sound-bite….is rescue him.

All Taylor Swift has done is call Kanye an “innocent” and imply he hasn’t grown up. Fact is, Kanye was right 1 year ago; he’s still right today.

Bob, let it die, okay? Then at least one of you could cause Kanye is going on ad nauseum about that. You’d think he’d punched her or something. Taylor was right and I’m not a fan of hers AT ALL. He’s been whining about this forever and if he was any other artist you’d call them on it. You sound like one of those people who say she didn’t get famous until the incident when she’d sold millions before that. This shouldn’t have gone on for how long it has, nor taken the shape it has. I hope this is the last time he mentions this stuff. Move on with some new material to rant incessantly about.
