Jennifer Lopez feels the Love? on the cover of her seventh album, due on Island Def Jam next year. Chosen as one of Barbara Walters’ “10 Most Fascinating People of 2010,” J.Lo revealed the artwork during her interview last night, with the singer-actress decked out in diamonds and a fur coat while she looks off into the distance.

Additionally, the entertainer spoke about her upcoming judging gig on the 2011 season of “American Idol” and the hesitancy she felt in agreeing to it. “When they first offered it to me, I was like, no. And then I thought to myself, I’ll be at home with the babies. It just seemed like, wow, we can have a little bit of a normal life for like, seven months. That would be fun!” she exclaimed.

J.Lo also spoke on keeping it real when it comes to judging the contestants. “I can be honest, but I don’t like being mean. I don’t like when people are mean to me, so I don’t want to be mean to anybody,” said the new mom, who shared the worst criticism she’s received. “I think the general thing was that I didn’t have a voice, and that kind of played on my confidence in the beginning a lot. And then I just had to realize that 40 or 50 million records doesn’t lie.”

I can’t wait for this album, say what you want about J.Lo’s voice, she makes great urban/pop/latin music. It always keeps me motivated in the gym and the leaks I’ve heard get me excited about this new album!

Selling 40-50 million albums doesn’t mean you’re talented. Britney Spears has sold, what, 100 million worldwide and will anybody here qualify her as having a good voice? Exactly.

And what about hit singles? You’ve not had one since 2003, so what does that say about you?

You can’t sing, JLo. You make catchy, danceable music, but don’t think you’re more important than you are.

@… i actually does make u a star! JLO can dance sing and ACT! so she is great! Not the best singer but can sing. She has 2 number 1 albums and 2 number 2 albums 5 top 10 albums, and 4 number 1 singles… soooo i think the world knows she can sing and is a star!!! run tell that hater!

I know everybody is not meant to be a powerhouse in the vocal department, so I guess it’s okay for Jennifer to be mediocre. She has definitely gotten better over the years though. But, where did she get the 40-50 million mark from?

Why do people mock her so much? I really dont understand it….!
She has been so successfull in her career and she has proven that she is a winner! AND that she never gives up! Cant people just appreciate her will and be somewhat inspired? Im sure all the hate bloggs arent coming from successfull and driven human beings…. If they are then good on you but you shouldnt say horrid things about someone who has actually done so much in the past 10-20years than you have in your entire life…. JLo can sing…. Maybe not the greatest voice but she can…. I know she can dance anyone off the stage! Acting? She has gotten so much better…. El Cantante? Watch it if you havent…. So good!
