2011 is looking bright for J. Cole with the spring release of his eagerly-anticipated debut, but this year belonged to some of his peers. The Roc Nation signee shares his three favorite albums and songs of the past year with Rap-Up.com. The list includes an album by one of his favorite rappers Kanye West (“I’m really an O.G. fan, the type of fan that gets mad when the new fans come”) and a song close to his heart, Miguel’s “All I Want Is You.” “And not ’cause I’m on it,” quips Cole. Dope list, I agree with MBDTF & TML. Haven’t heard Overly Dedicated, but I’ve heard Lamar is nice with it. And all the songs he listed would be in my top 10 possibly
