M.I.A. traipses the globe on her freebie Vicki Leekx, the follow-up to her debut 2004 mixtape Piracy Funds Terrorism, Volume 1. The 19-track offering, boasting contributions from producers Danjahandz, Diplo, Blaqstarr, Rusko, So Japan, and more, comes on the heels of her third studio album /\/\/\Y/\, released this past July. Ring in the new year with the latest from the Sri Lankan rapper.

I donno how I feel about the mixtape. I downloaded and listened to it nearly the second it came out. There are a select few moments that I personally enjoy, but I can’t imagine myself actually choosing to listen to this specific M.I.A. material when I’m in the mood to hear here. Just listen to M /\ Y /\, it delivers and sounds better than this.
