Video: Lil Wayne Performs on ‘New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly’

Lil Wayne kicked off 2011 on a high note. The rapper, along with Young Money’s Cory Gunz, performed his Carter IV single “6 Foot 7 Foot” on “NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly” in New York City.

“For the first time in 2011, the undisputed best rapper alive. Give it up for Lil Wayne,” said Nicki Minaj while introducing Weezy.

    That was good, but come on. Yall people need to chill. He is not the best rapper alive, and definitely not the best live rapper ever. Remember Tupac? Biggie? Yeah! In my opinion the best rapper alive is Eminem. Come on people, listen to his lyrics : ” real G’s move in silence like Lasagna ” Thanks. Sick flow though.

    Eminem is not the best rapper, he’s the best lyricist. That’s a big difference. His flow isn’t diverse enough to call him the best rapper. He’s watered himself down from back in the day EMINEM.

    Lil Wayne is one of the best to have ever done it.

    He’s not the best rapper, do yall listen to music or do you just skim through it? Most the time, Wayne doesn’t ever rap about anything. Just a bunch of punchlines and metaphors the whole rap. He almost never is able to rap on one subject. And he sure as hell barely ever raps anything meaningful.
