Following her Twitter rant that she would be quitting the music industry, Jazmine Sullivan asserts her independence on the Auto-Tune-heavy “I’m Not a Robot,” produced by Salaam Remi. Over a sparse, melody-deficient beat, the Philly singer hints that someone may have tried to control her artistic vision and subsequently turned her off from music. “I gotta get out of this program and find out who I really am,” she sings through a digital filter.
